I am going through best practices on my Exchange 2003 server. I recevied a warning about Tempory File Path Opimization so I am taking steps to resolve. In order to fix I need to run the ADSI Edit tool to fix. When the tool opens up I see two Configuration Objects and Two Domain objects but just one schema object. When i look at both dulicate objects they look the same so i am wondering why this is and if I can delete one of these duplicate objects? How can I tell which one is the right object to delete?

There is no problem.
It is duplicated because you added the configuration more than once.
It is easily re-created by connecting to the Naming Context more than once.

To add aditionally NC's, just right-click the ADSI Edit root, click "Connect to...", select the NC from the drop box under "Select a well known Naming Context:"
You can also savely "remove" the duplicated NC's from the Snap-in

If you're making changes then do them in the correct Naming Context.
