There are no lights that are lit when the laptop is not on the station (same on the other one) There is one light that goes on when the laptop is docked but it does not go that far.<br />

The visible connectors seem to be OK, I cannot see any damage. Maybe I need to open it and check inside.

I have a Lenovo T410 and two docking stations for it. It works perfectly fine on one of them but it will shut down immediately upon docking on the other one and it will not start any more when the power button (its own or the one on the docking station) is pressed.<br />
<br />
As it is working on one of the docking stations, I don't assume the problem is in the laptop. Just in case I tried with another one and had the same result.<br />
<br />
Any ideas what might be wrong with the docking station and how I could repair it?<br />

Hello guys,

As it is working on one of the docking stations, I don't assume the problem is in the laptop. Just in case I tried with another one and had the same result.
