Changing the Password on SQL Server 2005 Cluster Service Account
Hi,
I have a two-node SQL Server 2005 Active/Passive cluster.
I need to change the password to the service account, which is a domain account, in Active Directory. What is the proper procedure ... this is a Production server.
The specs are below:
SQL Server 2005 Standard 64 bit
Windows Server 2003, SP3
Active/Passive
The Service Account is a Domain Admin (... I have a reason for it)

... I change the PW in AD
... Change the PW in SQL Svr. Config Mgr
Which one do I do first?
... change pw in active node first, failover to passive nore, reboot
... go to the now active nood and do same ??
please validate for me.
