Are there any websites where I can download either ssh or cifs like I did with bash, and then perform an rpm install ?

Thanks

What exactly do you mean with "cifs" here?

The CIFS client is shipped with AIX (Vol. 1 of the DVD set):

bos.cifs_fs.rte
bos.cifs_fs.smit

As a  CIFS server there is of course Samba. This site has working binaries at version 3.5.8 (nothing newer available, afaik):

http://pware.hvcc.edu/download/aix61/

OpenSSH and OpenSSL are also shipped with AIX, on Vol. 1 of the DVD set:

openssh.base.client
openssh.base.server
openssh.man.en_US
openssh.msg.EN_US

openssl.base
openssl.license
openssl.man.en_US

All of the above are installp (bff) packages, not rpm.
