I am pushing a group policy for "Screen Saver after 15 minutes" by which all desktops will be locked after 15 min of ideal time.( User conf->Policies->control panel->personolization

I am configuring this on a users OU and i need to exclude some machines from this policy ..I know there is a policy in computer conf->policies->administrative templates->system->group policy->user group policy loopback processing mode .....if i enable this and selcet it a REPLACE.

How should i exclude the set of machines from the Screen saver after 15 min policy irrespective who ever logs into the machine....

Loopback is for computers not for users.  You need to set it on the machines OU.

Move a machine to a test OU and test first.  Get a feel for it.

Thanks

Hi Mike,
I made it based on my experience and understanding of Microsoft's KB, and also wanted to put in diagramatical form this helpful wiki: http://social.technet.microsoft.com/wiki/contents/articles/windows-server-understand-user-group-policy-loopback-processing-mode.aspx
Please feel free to cross reference!
