sbs2011, outlooks are connected but not updating

Hi all, we have a fresh install of SBS2011 and exchange 2010.

All the users are on outlook 2007 or higher, and vista or higher.

All the users are having an issue where their outlook doesnt seem to update their emails, so today they are still not updated from yesterday afternoon.

any ideas?

exchange services are started,

outlooks are saying connected, but manual send/receive does not bring down the new emails.

all new emails show in owa

exchange has a newer roll-up to install so will do that now.

Let us know the outcome of the roll-up.

This may help:

May also be worth doing the fix my network wizard - Just for the sake of doing it.

Have you logged in to webmail to make sure that there are new emails to download?

you mentioned owa working but Outlook doesn't not sure it's server related. When you send from Outlook does it leave Outlook or sit in the Outbox?

On the exchange server what does message tracking tell you?

well it all seems fine after doing the exchange rollup, i think it would have to be server related because this was happening on all the outlook clients.

emails were sending from outlook
