unless an Expert has real world experience of testing this motherboard with ESXi 5.0, you may not find an answer here. I would test and evaluate yourself.

Anyway, in the UK, under Distance Selling Regulations if purchased personally, you can change your mind within 7 days, from day after delivery for a full refund including postage, providing you return the item and bare the cost of return.

why not purchase a HP Proliant N40L Microserver G7 complete for £89 after cashback, with case, four way drive cage.

so how can I cluster 2 HP Proliant N40L Microserver G7 ?
if you do not have vCenter, or licensed versions of vSphere - you cannot.

going to hopefully go for an i7 3770 at 75W on a 1155 mini - itx Zotac z68 as I need more than 2 vcores this will have 8 vcores and at least 16 gb ram that will be enough for all the virtual machines I have in another whitebox that I plan to retire as it only has 4 vcores
why the need for all the cores....when we run 5-6 VMs per Core!

bottleneck is memory, never cores or processors!
