Hello I have a HP Compaq 8000 Elite, with a Windows 7 running, I want to change the disk to another bigger, I want to create the recovery disk to reinstall the system in the new disk, but i don't see the option.

If I push F11 in the boot the system offers to reinstall and I can see the Recovery partition.

Thanks

You can download it from the HP website:
http://h10010.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=bph07143&lc=en&cc=us&dlc=en&product=4065888

Follow the instructions on their.

Most newer PC's tend to have recovery partitions opposed to recovery disks.

If you cant download it then unfortunately HP may make you pay for the disks.
On your system, click Start -> All Programs -> Recovery Manager -> Recovery Media Creation.

This is the HP Utility to create your recovery disks.
Please note, you can only create recovery disks ONCE, so please make sure you keep them in a safe place.
No wonder HP sales are down.
Make it as difficult as possible to maintain and upgrade their products.
You know, depending up on who you got the disk from, there are free disk cloning utilities that will allow you to just move everything over to the new disk.
