Creating multiple backups in one big External USB hard drive in Backup Exec Software

Hi,
I have been using 5 external USB hard drives (250GB Seagate FreeAgent External Hard Drive) for Monday thru Friday.
Before then we used to use 5 physical tapes using HP LTO tape drive, but decided to migrate to external USB hard drives when the tape drive broke down.

Thesedays we can buy 3TB External USB Hard Drives in the market.

My question is that using Backup Exec Software, can I store 5 separate backup data in one 3 TB External USB Hard Drive?  In that way, I don't have to replace USB HD every day. I can keep backup data from Monday thru Friday in one 3TB drive.

its possible but i would not recommend it because if there is some corruption on one part of the partition you will end up losing the rest as well. Best to buy separate physical drives for it.
You create a retension policy on the media for each drive and make sure each job points to the appropriate usb drive. We run Backup Exec 12.5, 2010 ands 2012 on multiple servers using external 2TB drives in the same manner. it works well.

Hope this helps!
