Password change
Hello,
Within group policy, I have set the user's password to expire every X number of days.
Users working locally get a warning that their password is about to expire.
However, remote users, who connect to the network via VPN do not get the warning. so their password expires and they can no longer connect.
Does anyone know how to fix this issue?
Were are running windows 2003 active directory.
Thanks in advance.

The remote users are using the custom VPN client from Barracuda networks.
They never get alerted that the password is going to expire. Instead, the password expires and when they try to connect via VPN, they get a message that their password is invalid.

Normally , AD will ask to setup a new password once the user account password is expired Even if they are loggin from remotely (VPN).
What is the error message on the client system once they try to login?
what is the VPN client they are using?
