Indicated RAM use increasing throughout the day from 20% to 60% and higher. A restart brings it back to 20%... then same process deja vu all over again!

Win7 computer 4 years old (MAC Pro) and this is something new!

Have run a number of different software checks for virus spyware... all clean!

Have also run a Win7 RAM check on restart.... also clean!

Have 6 Gigs of Ram!

Have you checked the task manager? to see what process is using the memory,

Sounds like a memory leak in a program running on your machine,

Thanks... but the only signifiicant memory hog is IE9, which gest up to 250 MB, which doesn't seem high enough to suck up 60% of 6 Gigs of RAM!

Are you running any special programs?  If they are poorly written, they will not release RAM after they are closed.  You can experiment by noting how much free RAM you have, start up the program and do what you normally do, and then shut it down.  Compare the free RAM now with what you had at the beginning.
