How to disable the Lync Splash screen for use in remote desktop environment.

Hello,

We are deploying Lync 2010 in a Server 2008 R2 Remote Desktop environment.

Everytime someone logs onto the server and Lync starts it displays the 'Start Here' splash screen.

I realise this would usually only start once on a normal pc, but we have restrictions in place that are probably stopping the settings being saved, like not being able to change registry settings.

Is there anyway to stop this splash screen popping up in the first place?

Thanks,

Edd...

Hi,
perhaps you can configure this through GPO.

It should be able through the setting
FirstRunLaunchMode

I have currently no dev environment with lync to verify :-(
