Javascript and redirecting in Chrome

Hi,

How do I turn off javascript in Chrome 19?  The sites I've found online seem only to work with older version of Chrome.

Along with that, is there a better way to stop sites from automatically redirecting my pages.  I actually lose page history when it does that.  It's not a lot of sites that do it, but occasionally it happens and bugs the freak out of me.

Thanks!

I have Chrome19 on several computers with no problems.  What sites are you having problems with?

Hi,

Sorry for the delay.  I had actually tried the noscript extension, and it has some nice features.  Unfortunately it doesn't offer enough options and I was finding it working well for some sites and blocking too much stuff (like videos) from other sites.  Anything that depends on JS was hindered, even though all I wanted to do was stop JS redirects.

I had tried the noscript suggestion and, unfortunately, it didn't work.  No other alternatives were given.
