One of my client’s workstations is a Dell Optiplex 780 with Win7 Pro. <br />

It has had intermittent hard drive problems and all Dell say is to reinstall Windows. They will not replace the drive until it dies. I reinstalled windows twice on this Pc in a year and last time I wiped the entire drive and the diagnostics partition.<br />

How do I recreate the diagnostics partition on a new hard drive before I install Windows Win7 pro?<br />

I know the diags can be downloaded from Dell's site. The only recovery CD I have is for Windows 7 pro.
