VMware Tools 5.0 Update 1 for Esxi5.0

Dear Experts:

I am having Esxi5.0 and linux guests  as a VM

ubuntu , centos and debain and suse enterprise linux.

So far i have not yet installed VMware Tools for the above linux and Iam still using Esxi 5.0 not yet upgraded to Esxi 5.0 UPDATE 1.

Now that want to install VMware Tools for linux should i directly VMware Tools 5.0 Update 1 - CD image for Linux Guest OSes

OR

Is it recommended to go for VMware Tools 5.0 - CD image for Linux Guest OSes

2. Iam not sure should i first install VMware Tools 5.0  and then ontop of this should install  VMware Tools 5.0 Update 1

Please suggest. Thanks
