We have tried to open the mysql installation location i.e &quot;E:\Data\MySQL&quot; on the machine. But we are unable to open the directory E:/Data on the machine. We are receiving &quot;The request could not be performed because of an i/o device error&quot; message. I am not sure what the service command line is.

Unistall MySQL and reinstall to e:\MySQL. &nbsp;See if that solves the problem.
