Extract Attachments from Access Database

One of my departments has created an Access 2010 database.  One of the tables has a column where they have stored pdf attachments.  The column contains hundreds of attachments and the database is at the 2GB threshold, with many rows containing multiple attachments.  Is there a way to extract the attachments and replace with links to a file location?  I also have the option to migrate/upsize to SQL 2012, but I haven't found a way to easily get the attachments to migrate.

I was afraid that was the solution I was going to get.  That's more effort then I am willing to put into this one.  I am going to take a more manual approach and use it as a teaching tool.  Thank you for the quick response.
