Windows 7 cmd line change value in registry
Pretty simple im trying to change a value in the register in windows 7.
This line doesn't work.
reg add HKLM\SOFTWARE\NUVISION NETWORKS\SurePOS /v Address /t REG_DWORD /d 0000006a
8/22/2022 - Mon
reg add "HKLM\SOFTWARE\NUVISION NETWORKS\SurePOS" /v Address /t REG_DWORD /d 0000006a /f
If you have spaces, make sure you enclose your value or path in quotes.
Okay that did it thanks, is there a cleaner way to just change the value? It wants a yes or no to overwrite after that?

Add the /f switch. It forcibly applies the change or creates the value if it doesn't exist.
