We have setup an Exchange 2010 Hub server receive connector to allow other network device to send email (EMC&gt;server conf&gt;hub transport&gt;Hub server&gt;create new receive connector). &nbsp;In the network tag, I add IPs which the HUB server will receive mails from remote servers (or network device). &nbsp;<br />

We have been asked to add a lot of network device which need to send emails to the this hub server. &nbsp;<br />
<br />
Question, in the Exchange 2010 world, in order to allow a remote device to send email, do I need to setup whitelist like the above or can I just specify a domain login credential on the network device? &nbsp;Or do I need both to be setup?<br />
