Drop Database In Restore
Hi all,
I have a SQL 2008 R2 (10.50.1600) server, there are several databases on the default instance that were mirrored but now aren't - they are say in state "restoring"
I cannot drop them or take them offline in this state, is there a way that I can delete/drop etc. as stopping the SQL server instance is not an option (this is how I would normally tackle this scenario).
Cheers

Are you sure they still aren't mirrored? Isn't the non-primary database in a mirrored configuration always in the restoring state? Maybe they were failed over?

Thanks that did it.
DB's defo no longer mirrored (does not have mirror, synchronised next to it).
