EE thread id 34065980 Dr Hussain BestSync SyncBreeze to mirror MS SQL database

Anyone had used the following 3 tools, care to give
your views on how well they work in synchronizing
MS SQL databases:

a) BestSync 2010

b) GoodSync

c) SyncBreeze

I find setting up MS SQL 2008 synchronous mirroring
challenging so I thought doing sync'ing via ssh is simpler
& can be supported by sysadmin (instead of DBA) :

Can BestSync synchronize the opened or locked files, such as data base file?
Yes, BestSync supports "Volume Shadow Copy Service" of Windows XP/Windows 2003/W
indows 2008/Windows VISTA/Windows 7, even opened files or locked files such as S
QL data base file, OS registry file, Outlook PST files can be synchronized/backe
d up correctly. Other software may fail if the files are using. You need not wor
ry this if you are using BestSync.

& how these tools compare to Robocopy & rsync  in terms
of maintaining integrity of the data that were being sync'ed
over?  I suppose rsync & Bestsync can work over ssh but
Robocopy requires mapping of drives (NetBIOS or NFS ? )

>SQL service would need to be stopped before the copy and restarted
If it's VSS aware, I thought the whole idea was to be able to take a good
snapshot without shutting down the DB service (yes, sort of taking a
'hot quiesced' backup)
