Beginners ESXi 5 install step by step tutorial for HP ProLiant ML110 Servers

Hi

I asked this question:
http://www.experts-exchange.com/Hardware/Servers/Q_27741663.html

So I got very helpful links from hanccocka & carolchi.

Unfortunately this link is not working anymore:

How to set up Esxi:
http://www.virtualvcp.com/esx-whitebox-servers/35-vmware-esxi-35-on-hp-proliant-ml110-g5

Any other links?

Many Thanks! My friend has no idea with ESXi.

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

where are you stuck?
IanThCommented:
why are you doing esx 3.5

you can build a cheap whitebox to learn v4 and v5
IanThCommented:
I even got esx v5 working on an atom d525 not really useful mind you only 4 vcores and only 32bit vm's

I have done a article on v4 whitebox and you can use that for v5

the only thing most whiteboxes fail are direct i/o if you need that look for a server motherboard I got an intel 5200 for one of my whiteboxes with a xeon 5520
