Registering ocx with Windows ?
I am trying to register mscomct2.ocx which is in windows\system32. I do this by entering cmd and going into c:\windows\system32 folder and type "regsvr32 mscomct2.ocx". But I get an error saying:
The module "c:\windows\system32\mscom ct2.ocx" failed to load.
make sure the binary is sotred as the specified path or debug it to check for problems with the binary or dependent .dll files.
the specified module could not be found.

if you are using windows 7 x64 version the ocx must be in the syswow64 folder

Thanks for your reply.
Now I copied mscomct2.ocx to syswow64, and now when I rung regsvr32 I get this error:
The module 'mscomct2.ocx' was loaded but the call to DIIRegisterServer failed with error code 0x8002801.c
