NTFS Errors Event 55 on Server 2008 Standard 32bit running in VM

Hey Guys

I have a weird problem with one of my domain controller servers running in VM.
The VM Machine has 2x drives (os and data).
I randomly get an Error Event 55 for the data E:\ drive.
***Description: The file system structure on the disk is corrupt and unusable. Please run the chkdsk utility on the volume DATA.***
It's happening about every 2-3weeks.
I have run a full hard drive scan to see if there were any corruptions or bad sectors on the drive, but that passed.
There are also no error events in the IBM Integrated Management Console.
I am running 5x other VM on this server (6x in total) and no other VM is getting this error.

Here is my setup:
1x IBM 7947-44M server (2x quadcore XEON, 32GB ram, hdd: (vm esx os drive 2x 250gb raid stripe, data drive for vm 4x 500gb in raid 5/10), 4x ethernet adapters.
VM: vSphere 4 Hypervisor (only) ESXi 4.1.0 260247
6x VM Server 2008 machines.
Running the latest VM tools. All servers have the latest Windows updates.
The VM that is having issues is the domain controller and is running Windows Server 2008 Standard 32bit (it is not R2).
For Backup I am running Appassure Replay 4.7.2. The Core is running on a separate VM and only an agent is running on the domain controller. Test extractions are working successfully for both drives on the domain controller.

I'm not sure what could be causing the problem or what I am missing.
What should I do? I'm worried that there is a hardware or a data corruption occurring that I can't find.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Kind Regards

are you VMs running on local storage?

check the local storage for any RAID issues.

VM's are running on local storage.
Checked the IBM console management tools, no raid issues in the logs.
