Printer Defaulting Problem

Hello all,

I am having a problem on one of my terminal servers with printer defaulting. Regardless of what I set as default on log off and log on it will default to Adobe PDF. This behavior is for all remote users across the board.
I have Microsoft GP 2010 installed on this server. The application has internal printer setting and I am not sure if this application is affecting my OS printer settings. Almost all print function within GP is tied with the default printer (will not allow to change printer destination when printing out of GP), personally one of the most difficult applications I have ever managed.
I created a GPO to deploy a printer to a user on this server. On log-in the printer deployment works and the deployed printer is default. When printing something out of GP, it lists a printer not even found within the printer directory. Log off/Log on it will default back to the Adobe PDF.
I am lost on this problem. Any insight would be very helpful. Thank you.

Sadly, I removed all registries from the sub directory "connections" under "printers" from all identities > reboot server > GPO printer deployment works > defaults to the correct printer > run GP 2010 > test print > path is still on adobe pdf. Switch default printer and run a GP print test and shows the default printer I selected. Logoff/Logon and the default printer I selected still saves (happy about that), run a test print within GP and it is still pathed to the adobe pdf. blah!
