Exchange 2007 database won't mount event id 481 ESE
Yesterday I had a bad drive in a RAID 5 array. This morning Exchange 2007 database dismounted. I mount it and it stays mounted for a very short time and then dismounts. I get event ID 481 source ESE
MSExchangeIS (16312) First Storage Group: An attempt to read from the file "D:\Data\Exchange\Mailbox Database.edb" at offset 114734669824 (0x0000001ab6b82000) for 8192 (0x00002000) bytes failed after 7 seconds with system error 1 (0x00000001): "Incorrect function. ". The read operation will fail with error -1022 (0xfffffc02). If this error persists then the file may be damaged and may need to be restored from a previous backup.
The new drive came in today and it is rebuilding. It is almost done but I still get this error when trying to mount the database.
I am copying a backup but that will take hours. I would really like to get this mounted now if possible.
