Backup exec 2012 - Media unkown

Hi guys,

Queston related to Backup Exec. I dont understand well the cause.

We have a Ibm librabry. It is theorically working well. The library is reconoigzed by BE 2012.

Before this issue Backup exec was installed and the the software was able to reconogized them. The tapes were blank. We never used them.

We had to uninstall Backup Excec 2012 and reinstall it.

Now, after uninstall and install again the tapes like "media unkown".. with no available space detected, etc.

What is the cause of this and more important how is it possible to bring the tape to working state?

Thanks in adavance. Maybe it is a silly question but we have not so much experience with Backup exec.
