We have a group of WIN2K3 servers which their system resources ran low almost at the same time. We see there are a lot of event ID 333: An I/O operation initiated by the registry failed unrecoverably. The Registry could not read in, or write out, or flush, one of the files that contain the system's image of the Registry.
After the above, event ID 55 shows up: The file system structure on the disk is corrupt and unusable. Please run the chkdsk utility on the volume C.
Has anyone seen the above issue before? We have researched for this quite a while and have found it very difficult to pin point the cause of the issue.
