Why upgrade to VMWare version 8

Hi experts,

I am currently using VMWare v7 mainly for a lab to run various OS. I see that there is a newer version, but it will cost me around $200.

I don't mind paying it, but will it offer me any more advantages over what I am using v7 for?

Thanks.

Bert

Thanks hanccocka,

That took less time than writing the question.

Hi Bert, in case you're missing functionality inyour current VMware, I'd consider looking at the new version. If you're unsure, I'd have a look at the specs of the new .
Thanks gerwinjansen, I will do that.
btw: after I posted, I saw hanccocka's post...
With Workstation 8 your virtual machine is compatible with ESXi, just copy/paste versus convert
Will Workstation 8 allow more than one user?
Yes, with Shared Virtual Machines in VMware Workstation Server Mode.
