Outlook 2003 Lost Notes

I recently upgraded from a Windows XP laptop to a Windows 7 laptop.  Copied all my files and folders over and created my Exchange email account on the new unit.  All my Emails, Contacts and Calendar entries came over fine but I lost my Notes.  I also copied both my .pst and .ost files but maybe I put them in the wrong directory.  Can you tell me what I need to do to recover all my Notes from my Outlook to the new laptop?  I had some very valuable information on them and really would hate to lose them.  The old laptop drive is still intact and I can download from it at any time.
Thanks,

I'm guessing that your Notes were stored in your PST file.

From Outlook, goto File, Open, Open Outlook Data File.

Browse to your PST file and open it.
