desktop turns off randomly

I had this problem with one pc.
when turning on I notice the machine would say press F1 to continue and something about the floppy disk drive.
Then I found out the power suplly wire of the FDD inside the case was unlpugged. Probably because the wire barely reaches the device.
NOw when restarting I do not get any message it starts properly.

Do you think this is why he pc was restarting randomly?
Or there must be another issue? If so please tell me what else can I do.

This is a dell optiplex 330
Intel pentium dual

Best regards,
