Connecting to GroupWise
Hello,
I installed GroupWise 2012 on a Windows 2008 Server. I also installed GroupWise Web Access. While logged into the GroupWise 2012 server, I can start the GroupWise email client and connect to my user account. I can send messages.
I logged into my Windows 7 workstation, installed the Novell Client, and then I installed the Groupwise 2012 client. When I start the GroupWise 2012 email client, I entered the IP address of 192.168.1.99 and the port of 1677. I cannot log in with my user.
I can logon to my GroupWise account with the GroupWise web access.
What do I need to check to see why I cannot log into GroupWise using the GroupWise email client? Is there a port that I need to open or something?
Thanks,
John
PS: I don't know if this is related. When I create an account in Consoleone, I get the following error message, "Error 0x8801 a request was attempted with an invalid or nonattached connection handle."
I am using the same ConsoleOne that was installed with GroupWise 2012 so it should be compatible.
