Topscan: Why a password is needed when importing a CSV file
Hi all,
I am able to export a tps file "stock.tps" to a text file called "stock.txt"
However, when i tried to import the text file by opening it, Topscan prompts me
for a password.
How to break this password?
Thanks in advance
Justin

Sorry but I was only responding to a Neglected Question alert. I know nothing about the Topscan product.
I suggest you contact them directly.
I'll see if I can locate some additional Experts that might know the product.

THanks slightwv,
At least i got a possible solution.
I have checked your link and read the information.
Though i do not have the solution but at least i know the possible reason why it couldn't be opened.
This is the best money I have ever spent. I cannot not tell you how many times these folks have saved my bacon. I learn so much from the contributors.

The answer given does provide the possible reason why it needs a password.
But i am not given the solution of resetting or disable the password.
Main thing is i am still not able to open up the file of interest.
how would I find out the header format that is required?
Thanks.
