SBS 2003 to New SBS 2011 hardware

I have a SBS 2003 box with 10 users on it.  I have purchased new server and will install SBS 2011 on it.  Is it easier to jsut start a new domain and bring all workstations over to the new clean domain or migrate everything over?
The SBS 2033 box has disk errors popping up and I cannot run windows update on the box, it keeps failing.
I just want to make sure that I am not inheriting more issues than a fresh install would fix.

If you are having problems with the old server, then it will probably be easier to build a new one from scratch.

You will have to disjoin all PC's from the old domain and then re-join them to the new domain and that can be disruptive for the users.

Might be an idea to try and get us Experts to look at the errors on the old server and see if we can help you tidy it up before performing a migration.

I have tested this a few times and it keeps hanging at the Active directory stage.  I will get the exact errors and repost.  I think it has to do with the inability to do windows updates.
I also just discovered an error 7 in event log, points to disk error.
This is the best money I have ever spent. I cannot not tell you how many times these folks have saved my bacon. I learn so much from the contributors.
