HP Procurve and Radius through windows 2008 r2

I have radius configured on the switch and i believe on the server but when i try to authenticate the error is IAS_No_Policy_Match. is there anything special when creating the policies on the NPS server for the HP Procurve's.

You have to make sure the request matches the check items you setup.
Debug the requests that came in.

okay i now can connect but it isn't sending the privelege elevation....is there a string to send once authenticated through radius like with cisco you set shell:priv-lvl=15. Does Hp have something like that?

i use 2910al switches

I think you need the "login privilege-mode" command

thank you ....where in the windows 2008 IAS do you specify the service-type to 6 or 7...if i take the aaa authentication mode out i am able to connect. i would like to send it from radius server but there isn't a vendor specific entry for HP

You would need to take that up with Microsoft and HP.
