Slide Transition

I've a powerpoint slide with text and a screenshot. Off the image I've arrows coming out of various elements to textually explain the feature. When the slide loads I want the core text and screenshot to load. Then when I hit next slide I want the arrows and text to appear. This will allow me to discuss the slide first and then move into the key features without overwhelming the user upfront on the initial slide load. How do I do this. I've seen other users do it. The lazy way is obviously to duplicate the slide and add the arrows etc to the second.
