Routeing

Hi All,
I'm trying to help a charity out.

Some goon has set up their network with an external IP 89.1.1.1 I want to get them on an internal IP obviously they have no budget at all.

If I could buy a router this would be up and running in minutes but like I said no budget.

They have a PC which I can add a second NIC too I understand you can use a pc as a router but I have no understanding on how to go about this.

Can anyone step me through the process of setting up a PC as a router so I can migrate this network step by step with no interruption.

Cheers
