these are all very good ideas..and thank you very much for your input.. i was hoping to find people who do this or just starting put like myself who i can speak to and talk about projects and maybe help them, and even learn something new
I Googled 'Flash user group' and got a long list of places scattered geographically.
Maybe there is one close to you?
Or are there colleges or further education institutions near you that run Flash qualifications courses? If there are, then you stand to meet others with similar interests if you try attending.
Or look at some of the groups covered on http://groups.adobe.com/pages/ugonline
http://www.actionscript.org/forums/ has a pretty active community. Even if this isn't the place for you, I bet the place for you is mentioned here - try searching the forum posts.
