asked on Wireless access point duplicate names
I have a wireless network in a small school that consists of eight consumer grade WAPs. Can I assign the same SSID and password to every device so users can move between WAPs without having to set up a connection in each location?

You should be able to set them up as network extenders. THis will just basically rebroadcast the existing network from the central WAP to all WAPs. Most APs can be configured this way
