Problems with Default Printer

Hello Experts
For some reason some of our employee's in just one of our offices are having problems with the default printer changing after connecting to the VPN.  They are using Windows 7 and we don't have a group policy that sets the default printer.  Though I am not 100 sure I believe the problem is only happening on Windows 7 machines. The other odd issue is that the printer that has the default changed to is not the same.

Any help you can give me would be much appreciated.

The printer is on the network.  I will check the vpn settings to see if it is marked or not
