Server 2008 R2 Event Journal Error - DNS Client Events - Name resolution for the name _ldap._tcp.dc._msdcs.mydomainname.local timed out after none of the configured DNS servers responded.
I have three new domain controllers running DNS in a new domain. This domain is not part of a forest. In event journal I get the following warning:
Warning
Event 1014, DNS Client Event
Name resolution for the name _ldap.tcp.dc._msdcs.Domain .LOC timed out after none of the configured DNS servers responded.
Log Name: system
Source: DNS Client Events
EventID: 1014
User: Network Service
I have attached the NSLookup report.
DNS seems to be working correctly but I want to get this warning out of the event journal. What do you suggest me to start troubleshooting?
Thanks,
Donald
