asked on Incredibar and Firefox on Windows 7
Somehow i ended up with the incredibar software loaded into my firefox browser on windows 7. I was able to uninstall the application from add remove programs but it did not actually go away. How do i remove this permanently?

there was a remover in add/remove programs which i ran. But it didn't remove it and it is no longer in add/remove
Yes, its not exactly legit software.
I caught this before it was ever installed, so I can't say from experience what works, however this appears to be thorough:
