Importing a non web compatible XL sheet into an Access 2010 web database

I have some excel sheets (2003 and 2010) that I would like to import into an Access 2010 web database,  but when I go through the import wizard in Access I get a dialog box that says "[DatabaseName] cannot import the selected objects into the current database because one or more of them are not web compatible. Fix the compatibility errors and try again, or select different objects to import." Is there some way to make the Excel worksheets/workbooks web compatible so I can import them into an Access web database?

The link the expert provided showed me that sometimes importing is not as simple as it used to be when you are dealing with web databases. And the link also explained how to do workarounds.
