"Do not save encrypted pages to disk" doesn't work
Hi there,
I have an issue with the IE setting "Do not save encrypted pages to disk", which is set at the GPO level for all users. I have a number of users who listen to audio via an internal web page. this page is over https and I DONT want the wav copy of the file saved to temporary internet files. However, on random machines under random users i am finding wav files in temp net files even though i have the "Do not save encrypted pages to disk" option set.
This seems like a bug to me, any ideas?
regards

Hi there, thanks for your reply.
We have thought of that however we cant have the wavs saved to disk at any time due to PCI DSS. the wavs can contains sensitive information and we need the files not to be saved to disk in the first place :-(

Also, may need to buffer small pieces during playback, anyway...
Try combining with "Empty Temporary Internet Files when browser is closed" option...
