I read a book and it mentioned about the PMO charter and PMO implementation charter? Could anyone tell me the similarities and differences between these two definitions?

PMO charter is the mandate, that's true, but it's not an project plan.<br />the PMO implementation charter is the definition of the purpose for implementing the PMO a.k.a Project management office.
Most of the times, it is interpreted as Project Management Office, but you can find about 100 different definitions everywhere.
But at the end, it is not defined at all.
So my question would be, in which connection you have seen the definition PMO and how it is defined. The definition then would point to the question, what the charta may be.
