asked on

centos wifi drivers

I am very very new at Linux. I installed CentOS 6.2 last night on my Dell Vostro 3700 laptop.
I am trying to set up the wireless network with no luck at all. I put in the SSID and the rest of the stuff but no internet connection. I think it could be that I need the drivers for it.
Where do i find the dell drivers for centos? And how do i setup a wireless network?
Thanks

Just FYI, the CentOS version you had is based on the kernel that was in fedora 12 to 14, and it uses the gnome2 desktop; fedora switched to using gnome3 a couple builds ago, and it's still not fully integrated yet...
