Wireless Card

How can I determine if my XP computer has a wireless card installed? Dell Dimension C521.

How can I do the same with Windows 7? Dell Inspiron 570.

Thanks

On either machine, look in Device Manager (Control Panel) and look in Network Devices. It will list your network cards including wireless if there is one. .... Thinkpads_User

In XP, there is no "Device Manager" in Control Panel; of course I know it's somewhere, but I can't remember how to get to it.

In Win 7; aahh, there's a challenge.

In Windows XP, Device Manager is found by clicking on the System icon in the Control Panel.  It is the top item on the Hardware tab.
Also, in XP, if Device Manager is gone from the menus, and if Right Click on My Computer does not get to Manage, you can run c:\windows\system32\devmgnt.msc.  That is Device Manager. .... Thinkpads_User
Thank you. I was pleased to help and hope you found all your Network Devices.
