Dell PowerEdge Server R200 OS reinstallation

Hi all,

I want to re-install Windows Server 2003 on Dell PowerEdge r200 server. I know we have to go through and press f6 to install additional devices. The installation requires to install the device driver diskette. Which drivers do I use and on what media (floppy, USB, CD) ?

Your dell should come with a Dell CD (setup/build Dell CD). This will not need a floppy.

F6 expects a floppy disk. In many cases USB floppy disks work.

Or you may want to include the driver using nlite in the installation disk itself.

It also had derivative versions for clusters, storage and Microsoft’s Small Business Server. Important upgrades included integrating Internet Information Services (IIS), improvements to Active Directory (AD) and Group Policy (GP), and the migration to Automated System Recovery (ASR).
