Microsoft Office 2010 Home & Business Licensing Problems

I have a computer that has Microsoft Office 2010 Home & Business installed and has been working for over a year.  Just recently, while running excel spread sheet, it would not let me save after working on the file.  It then said Microsoft Office 2010 Professional Trial period had expired and it would not allow me to save my excel file.  I purchased another license key just to make sure this was a computer i had a license for and applied it to Excel using help licensing option.  Still nothing!  Does not ask me to activate or anything.  It just finishes and Excel is still trial mode and I can't save all the changes in the file.  I can't afford to lose all the changes, yet I can't save.  Any ideas/?????
