can not modify exchange 2010
Hello,
we have a problem with an exchange 2010 Server. We have installed the sp2 and now we can not modify the Server. If we try to modify the exchange we allways get the sp2 upgrade process with this error: "exsetup can not start directly to excecute upgrades. Use Setup.com".
Do the Server still believe that he is in the update process?

Maybe you should really start over installing SP2. Seems that something did not work/finish. Are you sure it was completely installed? Did you reboot the server afterwards? I think it does not ask for a reboot but who knows....

the SP2 is installed and i also installed the rollup2. i have restarted the server too.
get-exchangeserver | fl | findstr ‘AdminDisplayVersion’ gave me the version 14.2 (Build 247.5)

i have allready installed the sp2 again - no success
or do i have to delete the watermaks before i reinstall the sp2?

configured Version and unpackedversion in the regedit under mailboxrole are not the same.
configuredversion 14.1.218.15
unpackedversion 14.2.247.5

last night:
1. delete all watermark and action entries in the regedit
2. downloaded the sp2 again, start the setup
3. error (files will be prepared): enterpriceserviceendpoints
4. copied the file from the sp2 folder into the bin folder, restart the server
5. start the setup again, error: see att. (the certificate could not be found)
